This is a full time course designed to facilitate students who wish to enter employment in the Construction Industry or to prepare for third level education in this area.

Applicants must be 17 years of age and should have passed a Leaving Certificate Course. These requirements may be waived for mature students and for people who have experience in this area.

Certification: FETAC Level 5

Further Study: Places are reserved in Institutes of Technology Courses for students who successfully qualify for this FETAC Level 5 Award

Course Fees: No tuition fees. Students may qualify for grants from their local VEC. Registration and examination fees will apply.

Employment: Successful students can expect to gain employment as apprentices in a number of trades.
